We chatted with Dr Gamer Verdian, Co-CEO of Dental Lounge Sydney, about his favourite joinery he worked on with the i space team. He shared insights into the process, goals, and outstanding results of their collaboration. Here’s what he had to say about the experience…
"I had the pleasure of collaborating with Javier on the joinery for our consultation table at Dental Lounge Sydney, and the results were outstanding. The aim of this project was to create a space that was not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing, relaxing, and unique. As the Co-CEO, it's incredibly rewarding to see our vision brought to life so beautifully by skilled tradespeople.
We first connected with Javier through our interior designers at MXM, who recommended his expertise for our project. My favourite piece from this collaboration is the consultation table. We wanted something very different from what you would normally see in a dental surgery. We wanted something stylish that would create a relaxing atmosphere. The table has become a centrepiece of the room, and everyone always likes to “feel” the table. It perfectly meets the brief of combining function and aesthetics. The craftsmanship and attention to detail in the table’s design have truly set it apart from any other dental practice furniture.
One of the unexpected advantages of the new joinery is its impact on the overall atmosphere of the space. Properly designed joinery can simplify and enhance the user experience, making clients feel more at ease during their visits. The feedback from our clients has been overwhelmingly positive, with many commenting on how the design contributes to a more relaxed and inviting environment.
My expectations were high, and Javier and his team exceeded them with their high-quality, durable work. The entire process, from initial concept discussions to the final installation, was seamless and efficient, taking just 6-8 weeks to complete.
